BRONXVILLE — An alleged armed robbery caused a police response at a Bronxville Verizon store on a normally quiet main street.

The Pondfield Road store, which is usually open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., was closed on Sunday as Tuckahoe and Bronxville police investigated the incident. The store was closed for the day as officials probe the alleged armed robbery.

FiOS1 News reached out to the Bronxville Police Department to get more details, but they have not released anything official.
