Cindy Campbell’s son, Ty, was a kid just like any other. Young, bright, and full of life, he loved playing in puddles.

But Ty’s life was ended at the age of 5 due to brain cancer. But Cindy says that, despite being diagnosed with the disease at age 2, Ty never let the disease kill his spirit.

“All he ever dreamed about was jumping in a muddy puddle, so in order to honor his memory we created this incredible event.”

The Muddy Puddles “Mess Fest” was held in Ty’s honor on Saturday at Camp Kiwi in Mahopac. All money raised at the event will go to pediatric cancer research.
