President furthers distaste for media, talks on North Korea at rally in Pittsburgh

Trump stumps for Rep. Rick Saccone, a PA politician hoping to win the 18th District

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania — President Donald Trump energized the crowd, speaking on the media and North Korea at a rally while on the campaign trail for Rep. Rick Saccone in Pennsylvania. Trump won the 18th Congressional District outside of Pittsburgh by nearly 20 points, a district that Saccone hopes to win.

Saccone is locked in a tight race against Democrat Conor Lamb, a 33-year-old former marine and federal prosecutor who would be new to running for office. The seat for the 18th District has been in Republican hands for the past 15 years and became vacant after 8-term Congressman Tim Murphy resigned amid a person scandal.
