Rockland Community College holds belated graduation for Jewish students

The students were unable to attend Sunday's graduation due to the holiday of Shavuot

SUFFERN — Ten Jewish students at Rockland Community College got a chance to celebrate their graduation with family and friends on Thursday.

The students missed the ceremony on May 20 due to the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, so the school made sure the students got to enjoy their graduation in a more intimate setting.
