Tweens and teens are drifting away from social media platforms and gravitating towards messaging apps, but how safe are they?

On average, there are 250,000 new users added daily to the messaging app called Kik and experts warn that its anonymous nature poses serious dangers to teens.

Jennifer Forsberg, head of technology education at the Bronxville schools, talks about the appropriate age that kids can start using certain apps and what parents can do to monitor them once they become users.
