Sacred Heart High School students giving back for Thanksgiving

Students packaged food for families in need in their community

Students at Sacred Heart High School celebrated the kickoff to Thanksgiving with a pep rally celebration on Wednesday where they packaged food for families in need in their community.

"I think it's amazing that I can help people and interrupt my Thanksgiving, it's great to give back," said Tiffany Lacroix, a Senior.

In October, students raised money through a Walk-A-Thon to purchase turkeys for Thanksgiving. Students then collected canned and boxed foods from different organizations to fill bags which will help serve over 300 families.

"It's honestly one of my favorite parts about being a Sacred Heart senior," said Gizelle Vidal. "We're always trying to show that we really care."
