Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says the Republican Party will have a discussion draft of a GOP-only bill by Thursday.

The bill will kickstart a legislative vote to change President Obama's existing health care law.

Without enough votes to stop the bill, Democrats are leaning on objections to closed and extended meetings where voting on the bill before review could be ushered in.

Signs point to the eventful vote happening as early as next week.
