A benefit concert is being held Thursday night in Port Chester for the family of Det. Sgt. Joseph Lemm, the airman and police detective from West Harrison who was killed while serving a tour in Afghanistan.

The 45-year-old, remembered by many as "Superman" for his generosity and kindness, was one of six Americans killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan on December 22.

The driving force behind the benefit concert at the Capitol Theater is the "Tunnel to Towers" Foundation. The group hopes to ease some of the family’s heavy burden of loss.
