Students in New Rochelle speak to local candidates about gun control

A teen group formed just after the Parkland shooting say they want to make sure gun violence remains an issue on Election Day


NEW ROCHELLE — Members of the Westchester Student Coalition Against Gun Violence spoke with candidates running for office this fall about gun safety and school security on Monday, along with issues like mental health and school security.

The Student Coalition Against Gun Violence was formed after the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida.
