Montclair State University welcomes new students on move-in day

Students and parents trudge through the rain, completing campus move-in


New students are getting help from their families as they brave the rain Sunday morning as a new beginning is started on campus.

Freshman Ian Baker is from Middletown and looks forward to starting his freshman year strong as part of the school's film program.

"It's great, it's very professional,” Baker says. “A lot of the professors have been in the field and are still doing it."

His mother is also happy. She says her son has been working on his video craft at home.
