Significant delays for students headed home from their first day in school in Millburn

Some parents said it took over an hour for their children to return home

The Washington School in Millburn made its debut in the nick of time on Tuesday morning, but a letter went out to parents on Monday evening letting them know what issues still remain.

One of those issues is busing, with the letter stating that the bus system had "significant issues and errors".

Parents picking up their children on Wednesday told FiOS1 that it took over an hour for their children to get home, but others say they are confident the school will work out any busing issues over the next few days.

School officials declined FiOS1's request for comment.
