Family of bullied teen who committed suicide settles with Morris School District

Lennon Baldwin killed himself in 2012 after being bullied by other students

GLEN ROCK — Lennon Baldwin killed himself after allegedly being bullied by other students at his school in 2012. On Friday morning, Lennon's family and the Morris School District reached a settlement of $625,000 after the family accused the district of failing to protect the 15-year-old.

The family's attorney, Fred Gerson, says that he wants school administrators and teachers to be more educated on the effects of bullying.

"Morristown and other schools have bullying policies, which is great. It's great to have policies, but you have to follow through on those policies," Gerson said.
