Food pantry in Passaic County helps and feeds veterans, military families in need

Military assistance pantry hopes to serve 50-75 families a month

PATERSON — A new food pantry is open in Passaic County with an important mission to feed hungry veterans and military families. Congressman Bill Pascrell and Paterson Mayor Jane Williams-Warren announced the opening of the food pantry on Monday to help veteran families or active military families in need.

"God put us on this earth to help people, and helping veterans is just one small token," said Paterson Mayor Jane Williams-Warren.

The pantry hopes to serve 50-75 families in need once a month.
