Bridgewater-Raritan 16, Pingry 8

High school boys girls lacrosse game

The Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers (14-4) won their 4th straight Somerset County championship, winning 16-8 over the Pingry Big Blue (13-5) at the Torpey Athletic Complex in Bridgewater. The Panthers scored 8 goals in the 1st half- as many goals as they needed to win the teams' overtime matchup last month- to lead by 3, despite winning just 2 of the half's 14 draw controls. The defending Tournament of Champions winners never trailed in the game, as winning draws in the 2nd half led to extending their lead. Tai Jankowski led Bridgewater-Raritan with 5 goals and an assist, while Sadie Herman and CJ Amster each had 3 goals and 2 assists. Ally Feeley earned 4 goals and 1 assist for Pingry.
