Thousands across New Jersey feel after-effects, darkness of nor’easter

Many across Garden State wake up to improved conditions, but continuous power outages


MORRIS PLAINS — The nor’easter was still being felt in Morris Plains on Saturday morning. And while conditions improved since Friday, winds continued to gust and the storm left a mess in its wake — including thousands across the Garden State without power. Many people woke up in the dark without any knowledge on when power would be restored.
