Power restored to 20K in Bayonne after a massive outage

Some businesses remained open during the blackout

Crossing the street may be everything thing for some people, but it was made more difficult in Bayonne Monday morning when they lost power, and street lights went out.

About 20,000 PSE&G customers reportedly lost power around 9:30 a.m.

According to PSE&G's website, there are several projects to upgrade gas facilities in the area.

Power was restored around 11 a.m. But during the outage, local businesses remained opened.
