St. Joseph Regional High School football back on top, and looking for more

Last season, the school captured its 18th state title and was ranked #1 in New Jersey

St. Joseph Regional High School is back to their winning ways after capturing their 18th state title last season, and players and coaches say they are hungry to repeat this season.

The Green Knights are looking for revenge against nationally-ranked St John's College High School from Maryland on Saturday. St. John's was one of just two teams that managed to beat St. Joseph last season.

"Saint John's, they came up here last year. We had an opportunity to finish the game, we didn't do that," said head coach Augie Hoffman. "There's a little more motivation to go down there and get them back."
